Elko County Art Club Student Scholarship
This scholarship is granted to a student graduating from an Elko County School District High School and is planning to continue their education. The scholarship is in the amount of $1,000.00, which can be used toward tuition, books and supplies directly associated with art classes.
Instructions and Information
Applicants are required to submit the following in person or online:
A completed application.
A written recommendation from a teacher.
Three (3) pieces of artwork.
Signed release to allow the artwork to be displayed at the Elko County Art Club Gallery.
Applicants are required to submit the following in person or postal mail (insured):
Supply three (3) pieces of artwork, framed and/or completed with hanging clips/cord/wire or display stand. The artwork or matted hardcopy photos (including printouts of photographed or scanned work) may be shipped or mailed. If doing so, please insure your work.
Submittals directed to EC Art Club 2023 Scholarship Committee can be:
Artwork can be delivered in-person to or shipped to at the ECAC Gallery, 407 Railroad Street, Elko, NV 89801
Paperwork can be submitted in one of the following ways:
(1) completed and delivered in-person to the ECAC Gallery, 407 Railroad Street, Elko, NV 89801,
(2) online using the link below, or
(3) completed and emailed to email@example.com [subject line – 2023 Scholarship submission]
The Scholarship Recipient is required to:
Enroll in at least one (1) art class at the selected school.
Provide EC Art Club’s Treasurer with the selected school’s student scholarship department contact information, and
A copy of the students upcoming class schedule.
Once the above information has been received and confirmed, the EC Art Club will:
Hold a reception for the all student artists (CDC protocols allowing). Parents, friends, ECAC members are encouraged to attend and light refreshments will be served.
Announce the winner of the scholarship during the reception.
Each student entry will receive an ECAC Membership for a year.
Send a check to the scholarship recipient’s school of choice on behalf of the student.
The award recipient can either remove their artwork after the reception or leave it on display with their name and a price (optional) attached through the end of August of the same year.
The remaining student artists can remove their artwork at the end of the reception or choose one piece to leave on display with their name and price (optional) attached through the end of August of the same year.
