Statement of Educational and Career Goals

“Growing up in a small town. there were never very many opportunities for me to express myself the way I desired 10. 1 was always limited with my passions and I thought most of my whole life that the only job opportunities I had were ones that required me to stay put in my little town. That was until I discovered I had a passion for art. My name is Edgar Magallanes and I’m from the small town of West Wendover.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted to become an elementary school teacher. I wanted the ability to inspire young kids in the creative field and give them an outlet to express themselves through an. I have had my fair share of teaching what I know to my fellow classmates and I enjoy it every time. I enjoy teaching them everything I know about art but it doesn’t stop there’ I also love working through problems that involve math or even science.

When it comes to my education, my goal is to receive my bachelors degree in an education. Getting this degree will help me achieve my goals of becoming the very teacher that I’ve always wanted to be. It will also allow me to provide students with a safe and stress free learning environment.”
